Guide :Cooktops : 23 in. KG 260 Gas Cooktop

Gaggenau clicking My mother has a 15-year old Gaggenau gas cooktop, and spilled a glass of water on it this morning. Apparently it is now making a clicking noise (like the one when the burners are turned on prior to ignition) and won't stop, regardless of whether the burners are on or not. Does anyone know what is happening, and what to do to fix it? Thanks.
